ONLINE BOOKS DEVELOPED BY THE PARADIGMS TEAM

All of these books were written in PreTeXt for portability; the online versions incorporate interactive applets written in GeoGebra and SageMath.

The Geometry of Mathematical Methods
A geometric treatment of a wide variety of mathematical topics across the physics curriculum.
(A PDF version is also available, but it is missing all of the interactivity of the online version, nor is it kept up to date.)
The Geometry of Vector Calculus
A geometric treatment of multivariable and vector calculus, used in calculus courses.
The Geometry of Static Fields
A geometric treatment of electro- and magnetostatics, including related mathematical methods, especially vector calculus.
The Geometry of Central Forces
A geometric treatment of the classical mechanics of orbits and the quantum mechanics of the unperturbed quantum hydrogen atom, including related mathematical methods.
A Study of the Development of the Paradigms in Physics Program
How the Paradigms in Physics program was developed.

Three traditional printed textbooks were also developed as part of the Paradigms project. Further information can be found on our (deprecated) original website (which also lists an early version of GVC).
